Arthroscopy

Integrated Arthroscopy Systems

Stryker Endoscopy offers the first and only integrated arthroscopic resection system, Crossfire. This hybrid platform has the ability to operate both RF and powered instrumentation from one console. The Crossfire console and footswitch are compatible with existing SERFAS Energy probes and the Formula Shaver System. Crossfire has one connection port for Formula shavers and SERFAS Energy probes, as well as the Crossfire footswitch, eliminating the need for multiple consoles.

Powered Shaver Systems

Stryker’s software-based system helps surgeons in various specialties perform aggressive tissue resection and rapid bone debridement during arthroscopic procedures. The system can be directed with unique wireless footswitches and offers powerful, precision cutting to ensure maximum performance for today’s surgeon.

Fluid Management

FloSteady Arthroscopy Pump

Stryker’s FloSteady Arthroscopy Pump offers maximum performance and a compact, space-saving design. This ergonomic, user-friendly pump is equipped with a special “turbo” option for high-fluid procedures.

FloControl Arthroscopy Pump

The FloControl pump controls both inflow and outflow as well as regulates shaver suction with a variable flow rate. No special cannulas are needed; however, Stryker “high flow” arthroscopic cannulas or the Stryker Inflow/Outflow cannulas are recommended.

Tube sets are ergonomic and intuitive to set up. The FloControl arthroscopy pump can also be used as an inflow only pump. This feature is ideal for shorter procedures or cost cutting measures within the OR.

• Programmable joint icons change the flow rate and pressure for ideal performance during knee, shoulder and small joint procedures
• Wash button quickly clears the joint of debris. Length of wash and pressure increase can vary depending upon surgeon preference
• Fluid conservation feature helps maximize OR efficiency and reduce cost

RF Ablation Systems

The SERFAS Energy RF Ablation System demonstrates the most aggressive method for tissue ablation while offering unmatched coagulation abilities. The console’s intelligent yet simple design maximizes performance while completely eliminating any risk to nearby scopes.

Stryker’s RF Ablation System offers a variety of procedural specific probes. The bipolar function of the Energy probes eliminates the need for a grounding pad.

Manual Instruments

Stryker offers a full line of Conquest Arthroscopic Manual Instruments including punches, scissors and graspers to perform any arthroscopic surgery procedure and accommodate individual surgeon preferences.

These instruments are made with the highest quality materials and machining technologies to provide top-notch performance. Heat-treated stainless steel offers excellent strength, and wire EDM technology provides sharp edges on all cutting surfaces.

Universal Wireless Footswitch System

Stryker developed the market’s first wireless universal footswitch in order to increase safety and efficiency in the operating room.

The iSWITCH footswitch uses a wireless USB connection and has the ability to control multiple devices in the operating room.

The iSWITCH communicates wirelessly to a receiver console that has the ability to connect and control Stryker TPS, CORE, SERFAS, and SERFAS Energy footswitch functions as well as the foot control for the Valleylab Force FX ESU.
